This is the home of Brockley’s very own purveyors of finest coffee and foody treats. The Broca coffee shop and Broca Food Market are a tag team of ethically aware and locally produced awesomeness.
The Broca coffee shop is the first business of Erin and Rob. It opened in May 2007 and was inspired by the coffee shops in Western Canada and Berlin. By using found objects, second quality equipment, and ethical products, the Broca has captured the local community spirit of Brockley Cross. A qualified lead barista, and having trained with the London School of Coffee, Erin leads her team to create coffee that is strong, full of flavour and made to a classic recipe. It's worth a visit to see the beautiful La Marazocco coffee machine, as used in the World Barista Championships!Tel: 020 8691 0833 Mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
We love Brockley and when a large retail area in West Brockley came available, we jumped at the chance to create a community grocery store!
Now, the Broca Food Market is nothing fancy, but it's secondhand, cheerful and will have a big selection of afforable fruit, veg, meat and ingredients, plus a selection of local books and cd's for sale. We are sourcing everything as local as possible, so please, please, please get in touch if you have an item stocking suggestion, are a great supplier, or you know someone in the area who is!Tel: 020 7358 8343 Mail: email@example.com
We are hiring for both the Broca coffee shop and the BFM. You can email your CV and cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org or drop it in to either shop. If you have any barista experience, we would love to hear from you!!
